President Donald Trump used his Truth Social platform on Wednesday to urge his followers to buy a new thriller by conservative author Andrew Klavan.

“It’s fantastic. Get it now!” Trump wrote of “Find Me Nowhere,” calling Klavan a New York Times bestselling author who “has just written a great new book.”

The novel is the sixth in Klavan’s Cameron Winter series, which follows a retired assassin drawn back in for one last job. Publishing listings give an October 2026 release date, with most citing Oct. 20. It is published by The Mysterious Press. The Daily Wire, where Klavan hosts a podcast, ran a promotion that included the book’s prologue and a link to pre-order it.

According to the publisher’s description, the story begins when an American soldier dies in an explosion near the Afghanistan border. His father is later found stabbed to death in a struggling Pennsylvania factory town. Winter, who has settled into a quiet life teaching poetry at a Midwestern university, is asked by his former boss to find out why.

Kirkus Reviews wrote that Winter’s investigation takes him to the small town of Kinnecombe, Pennsylvania, where each visit turns up more powerful enemies. The review said Klavan is less concerned with neatly tying together every subplot than with creating characters who are memorable, engaging and ruthless.

Klavan, born in New York in 1954, is a two-time Edgar Award winner. His novels “True Crime” and “Don’t Say a Word” were made into films starring Clint Eastwood and Michael Douglas, respectively. He is also a conservative political commentator who hosts “The Andrew Klavan Show” podcast for The Daily Wire.

Trump has often used his social media accounts to promote books, products and allies.
