Manmin Central Church in Seoul marked its 44th anniversary with a special event at the SINTEX Convention Center in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, drawing congregants and international guests.
The event began with a commemorative worship service, followed by celebratory performances. Senior Pastor Dr. Soojin Lee delivered a sermon titled “Manmin’s Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.”
The performances that followed reflected the church’s journey, its expressions of faith, and themes of divine power and grace. The program opened with a stage featuring members of all generations, and included traditional Korean dance, worship dance and choral praise. Attendees closed the event by sharing their hopes for heaven and the New Jerusalem.
Rev. Mark Bazalev, head of the World Holiness Center in the U.S., said, “I first came to know Manmin Central Church at the 2006 New York united crusade, and now, 20 years later, it is especially meaningful to join in its anniversary event. The praise of the congregation, united across culture and language, moved me deeply.”
Sun Bong-gi, who attended the event, said, “Watching the performance, I was moved to tears by God’s unchanging love that is with Manmin Central Church.”
The event was broadcast live on YouTube and GCN TV.
